A stunning 0.2ct marquise cut deep purple sapphire from Umba, Tanzania.

This stone features a stunning untreated deep, saturated purple color - the main reason I selected a small parcel of Umba sapphires. Loaded with beautiful rutile and sugar silk inclusions, direct sunlight at the right angle lights up a galactic scene within. The high refractive index of sapphire still allows this gem to shine, casting flashes of light in all directions. This would make an excellent side stone, but could easily be made into a beautiful dainty ring.

With over 100 facets, this gem brings brilliance while the color captures attention while the inclusions make this gem truly one-of-a-kind.
