This is a large cabinet Golden Healer cluster Herkimer diamond specimen that was self collected from Crystal Grove Mine in St Johnsville, New York.
It has two distinct zones of crystals - a pocket in the lower section that is packed with crystals as well as an upper area displaying beautiful points scattered on a druzy layer. These crystals are all coated in iron oxide, giving them a natural, beautiful yellow glow and color. There are a few smaller areas where the iron depositing looks more red.
The back of the Dolomite host rock showcases a section of clean, gemmy Herkimer druse.
